Experience
Before joining Bivalacqua, Gelé + Ellis, Gabrielle served as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, where she managed a diverse litigation docket in both state and federal court. Her work spanned personal injury, civil rights, and code enforcement matters from intake through trial and settlement. That hands-on experience shaped her balanced approach to litigation – strategic when it matters most and always grounded in the realities of her clients’ goals.
Gabrielle’s career also includes service as an Assistant Attorney General, Assistant District Attorney, and counsel in both administrative and criminal defense settings. This broad background gives her a rare, 360-degree perspective on how cases move, resolve, and succeed across Louisiana’s courts.
Education
A lifelong New Orleanian and proud graduate of the city’s public school system, Gabrielle earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans and her Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law.
Outside the office, Gabrielle is a devoted mother of two beautiful daughters and a proud advocate for her community.
